design an experiment to determine whether an antimicobial agent is acting as a cidal or static agent .how would you determine whether an agent is suitable for use an antiseptic rather than as a disinfectant ?

設(shè)計(jì)一個(gè)試驗(yàn)以確定抗菌藥是充當(dāng)了抑菌劑的作用還是充當(dāng)了一個(gè)消毒藥的作用。但是如何來確定抗菌藥是被用來作為抑菌劑而不是消毒劑呢？

利用物理或化學(xué)方法來殺死微生物細(xì)胞者(kill cells)，稱之為cidal agents；
若是抑制微生物生長(zhǎng)者（without killing them),則稱之為static agents。
比如說：bactericidal就是killing bacteria，而bacteriostatic則是inhibiting the growth of bacterial cells,另外fungicide則是killing fungi等等。
總結(jié)如下：
-cidal agent (kill or inhibit,不可逆);
-static agent (inhibit growth but not kill bacteria，可逆)
disinfectants (inanimate)
antisepticize (living organism) 體內(nèi)抗菌

因此你可以根據(jù)這幾種藥品的個(gè)性設(shè)計(jì)實(shí)驗(yàn)來區(qū)別他們各自屬于哪一類了

這句話你是不是漏打一個(gè)as ??？... is suitable for use as an antixeptic ....?

設(shè)計(jì)一實(shí)驗(yàn)以確定一種抗菌劑是以殺菌劑還是抑菌劑模式起作用。你將如何確定一種試劑是更適合于用作殺菌劑而不是用作消毒劑呢？（假設(shè)你漏打了一個(gè)as）

應(yīng)當(dāng)是滅菌和消毒吧？
記得本科時(shí)有區(qū)別過這兩個(gè)概念，只知一個(gè)只滅常見有害微生物，一個(gè)是統(tǒng)統(tǒng)干掉；具體忘了，我書讀的不太好~
