Position: Regional Manager, Technical Sales, Asia South
Reports to : Regional Business Director. Direct reports to this function are the Local Area
Manager Technical Sales and the Handling Solutions Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
• Support and enable sales force to execute successful Value Selling, to position team as a strategic resource
for customers. Establishing sustainable relationships with customers’ decision makers.
• Generating value for both customers and team by researching and applying tailored solutions to meet customers’ commercial and technical needs. Managing focus accounts for growth and profitability.
• Initiate and support national sales teams in technical service projects and marketing campaigns.
• Coaching and training of regional and local/national sales teams in application of technical services and nutritional and technical trends in the industry.
• Increase company’s image perception in the market via university visits, technical presentations and
symposia.
• Analyse and report Industry trends to innovate service tools and offerings.
• Validate commercial market size estimations and predictions from a technical and nutritional point of view.
• Provide input and feedback on all technical issues to Marketing Animal Nutrition and Services Marketing and
in product related issues to support both regional global steering.
• Develop and maintain regional strategies to increase market share.
• Champion in nutritional skills and service tool applications for the region.
• Lead and manage Area Manager Technical Sales and Handling Solutions Engineer.
• Support high quality and complete data input into CRM tools.

• Continuously research customer needs in the field of technical services and product application and propose measures for improvement.
• Lead, motivate, train and develop direct reports.
• Attention to all relevant Guidelines, regulations and duties according to Quality, Safety, Environment and
Health Management systems.
Profile
• Education: PhD or MSc in Animal Nutrition, preferably in Poultry
• Possess at least 5 years of work experience in the feed or feed additives industries in a similar role.
• Competencies:
- fluent in written and spoken English
- strong leadership skills and a creative thinker
- good business acumen
- good communication and interpersonal skills and a strong team player
- good computer skills |
